Therapy for adolescents and adults navigating identity, relationships, and modern pressures

I work with adolescents and adults who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected—from themselves, from others, or from a sense of direction. This often shows up as anger, anxiety, or depression, particularly during periods of familial change, grief or loss, or major life transitions. I also support individuals when social media or video game use begins to interfere with emotional well-being, school, work, or relationships.

In therapy we slow things down, make sense of what's happening beneath the surface, and work toward a stronger sense of self, greater emotional resilience, and more intentional connection.

My approach to therapy is person-centered and depth-oriented, drawing on psychodynamic principles blended with evidence-based practices. I offer a steady and grounded attunement where reflection, growth, and meaningful change can unfold over time. As a Bay Area native, I'm familiar with the pressures of achievement-driven environments and the toll they can take on emotional well-being and identity.

I hold a MA in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, Professional Clinical Counseling, and Depth Psychology, as well as a BSBA in Finance and Economics from the University of Pittsburgh. I currently see clients through the practice of Bradford Smallwood, LMFT, who specializes in working with adolescents, anger, identity, and major life transitions.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy playing pickup and organized basketball, a surf or skateboarding session (depending on the weather!), and sitting down to listen to some good music. When the sun's set I value time with friends and family, comedy in any form, or reading an interesting book (James Hollis is my man!).
